Timothy G. Crosier, 84, died at his home in West Brattleboro about 10:15 o'clock Tuesday night after a protracted Illness with cancer. Funeral services will be held at his late, home at 1 :30 o'clock today, Rev.N. A. Wood of the West Brattleboro Baptist church ofllclatlng. The burial will be In West Brattleboro. Mr, Crosier was one of 10 children of Joseph and Sally Crosier, and was born in Halifax Aug. 12, 1810. When about seven years old he moved with his parents to Searsburg. The family was one of the first to settle in Searsburg. Mr. Crosier carried on a farm in that town and he dealt exlenslvely In cattle. He also conducted a teaming business between Searsburg and North Adams, Mass. He moved to this town In 1870 and
has lived here ever since, carrying on a farm In West Brattleboro. He married, for his first wife, Mary Ann LeRay of Searsburg, and they had six children, three of whom are living, Dudley L. Crosier and Mrs. Lyman nuntley of Guilford and Ervlng G. Crosier of Brattleboro. On April 15, 1874, he married Emily W. Johnson of South Londonderry, and they had three children, two of whom are living, Allian and Carrie Crosier of West Brattleboro. Mr. Crosier leaves one sister, Mrs. Lucinda LeRay of Searsburg. Mr. Crosier had a wide acquaintance In this county. He wai public spirited, and he several times represented the town of Searsburg In the legislature. His home life was one of devotion to his family and friends. .

Marilyn (Johnston) Kralovec, 85, died Wednesday, January 5, 2005 at a local nursing home. After battling many health concerns, she died after a short illness. She was born on December 25, 1919 in Green Bay to the late Alfred and Ruth (Crosier) Johnson. Marilyn married Eugene Johnston in November of 1942. He preceded her in death on Oct. 12, 1960. In February of 1994 she married Irvin Kralovec. Survivors include her husband, Irvin; one son, David (Sharon) Johnston, and his children, Kelly, Jessica, Seth, and Whitney; one daughter, Mary Johnston, and her daughters, Stacy and Meredith James. She was preceded in death by her first husband, Eugene, and her brother, Lyle. Friends may call after 4:00 p.m. on Monday, January 10, 2005, at Lyndahl Funeral Home, Lombardi Ave. at Ridge Rd., where a funeral service will be held at 7:00 p.m. officiated by Reverend Scott Naevestad. Interment in the Woodlawn Cemetery. The family would like to extend a special thank you to the staff at San Luis Medical and Rehabilitation for their care and concern.

ROSEVILLE - Sandra J. Crosier, 78, of Roseville, Ill., passed away at 1:46 a.m. Friday Oct. 28, 2016, at her home. She was born Saturday, June 18, 1938, in Monmouth, Ill., the Daughter of Ralph J. and Grace E. (Johnson) Johnson. She married Robert H. Crosier on June 16, 1957, in Monmouth, Ill.
Those left to cherish her memory are her husband, Robert H. Crosier of Roseville, Ill.; daughters, Laurie (Dan) Loy of Ames, Iowa, and Marcy (Kevin) Koller of Monmouth, Ill.; son, Chad Crosier of Monmouth, Ill.; seven grandchildren, five great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, two brothers, and one sister.
Sandy loved her role of caregiver, wife, mother and grandmother. She was also a babysitter and loved pets of all kinds. She was a member of the Red Hats, UMW, WSCS, and the Woman's Club. She enjoyed reading and crocheting.
Funeral service will be Monday, Oct. 31, 2016, 11 a.m., at the Wise Family ~ Hoover Hall Funeral Home in Monmouth, Ill. Visitation will be 4 p.m. to 6 p.m. Sunday, Oct. 30, 2016, at the Wise Family ~ Hoover Hall Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Roseville Memorial Park Cemetery, Roseville, Ill. At that time he moved to Baytown, Texas, where he met and married his wife Diana. In 1993 he moved to Hot Springs, Ariz., where he and his wife started D&D Trucking. He had a great love for his family and a passion for cars. He was a member of the Hot Springs Cruisers, and the Ford V-8 Club.
He leaves behind to cherish his memory his wife of 30 yrs Diana Poplaski. His children Donald Jr. &Teresa Poplaski, Timothy & Lisa Poplaski, Wayne & Kathy Poplaski, Douglas & Sandy Poplaski, Stephanie (Mitchell) Drennan, Lisa (Robert) French, John (April) Armstrong, Gerald Armstrong along with 15 grandchildren and 11 great grandchildren. His siblings Fred & Louise Poplaski of Dalton, Lillian (Joe) Gajda of Roundrock, Texas, Joan Ackley of Lanesboro, Ginger Carrow of Storrs, Conn., Janis (Mike) Lucyznski of Adams, Janie Asher of Cheshire, along with numerous nieces and nephews.

. G. D. Crosier, 56, Of Philadelphia, Native of City George D. Crosier, 58, of Sedgcwick Gardens, Philadelphia a native of this city and member of a well-known North Adams family, died suddenly Monday evening in Philadelphia. Mr. Crosier was the son of the late George J. and Nellie (Schuster) Crosier. His father was for many years proprietor of the Greylock Grocery and was long a member and at one time president of the City Council. His mother was the sister of the late Winfield and Water E. Schuster, originally associated with the textile industry' in Adams who later founded the giant Schuster mills in East Douglas. Mr. Crosier was graduated from Drury High School, Worcester Academy, Dartmouth College and the Harvard School of Business Administration. As a young man he was employed in the offices of the former Blackinton Mill and the former Arnold Print Works of this city. During World War II he was a civilian employee of the Navy and, remaining in government service, he had been associated with the Federal Housing Authority in the Philadelphia area for the past eight years. He leaves his wife, Marjorie, of Philadelphia; a daughter, Mrs. Constance Gibson of Norfolk, Va.; a son, Robert, of Ogallala, Ne., a Brother, Walter, of Grafton, and a sister, Mrs. Marie C. Smith of Pulaski, Va. The body will be brought to the Simmons Funeral Home in this city where the funeral will take place at 11 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Dr. Virgil V. Brallier, pastor of the First Congregational Church, will officiate. Burial will be in Southview Cemetery.

Walter Kochanski 1919 - 2008 ADAMS Walter Kochanski, 89, of 109 Summer St., died Saturday morning, April 5, 2008 at the North Adams Regional Hospital. Born in Yonkers, N.Y., on March 28, 1919, son of Stanislaw and Anna Sodoj Kochanski, he moved to Poland at the age of 2 with his parents and attended schools there. In 1947 he came to Adams. He first worked for the former Sprague Electric Co. in North Adams for several years, and for Zepka and Sons Florist in Adams for many years. His last place of employment was for the Adams-Cheshire Regional School System as a custodian, retiring in 1984. Mr. Kochanski was a communicant of St. Stanislaus Kostka Church and a member of the Saint Stanislaus Kostka Society. He was an avid fishermen and enjoyed woodworking. His wife, the former Antonina Kaczmarek, whom he married June 5, 1945 in Poland, died Nov. 10, 1998. He leaves three sons, Walter Kochanski Jr., John Kochanski, and Richard Kochanski, all of Adams; a daughter, Irene Gilman and her husband, Robert, of Adams; a brother, Joseph Kochanski and his wife, Blanche of Adams, eight grandchildren, Chad Gilman, Cory Gilman, Kimberly Gilman, Gregory Kochanski, Michelle Kochanski, Timothy Poplaski, Wayne Poplaski, and Douglas Poplaski. eight great-grandchildren, three great-great-grandchildren and nieces and nephews. Another daughter, Janina Poplaski, died Sept. 10, 2006. FUNERAL NOTICE: Services for Walter Kochanski will take place Wednesday, April 9, at 10 a.m. from the TROTTIER PRINGLE FUNERAL HOME, 6 Summer St., with the Rev. Daniel J. Boyle, pastor of the Catholic Community of Adams, officiating. Burial will be at the convenience of the family at a later date. There will be no calling hours.
