VOORHEESVILLE-Frank W. Warner, 94, of Voorheesville, passed away on Thursday, March 12, 2015 at St. Peter’s Hospice Inn, Albany. Born in E. Berne, NY, the son of the late Aaron and Dora (Deitz) Warner. He graduated from E. Berne School and was a veteran of WWII having served in the US Army Air Corp. He served in the European, African and Asian Theaters doing aerial reconnaissance. Frank worked for General Electric and Niagara Mohawk as an industrial photographer. He was president of the Professional Photographers of New York and America. Frank was an avid gardener.
Frank was predeceased by his wife of 70 years, Grace May (Gerard) Warner, his daughter Deborah Jean Warner and by his sister Helen Crosier.
Frank is the beloved father of Brian Gerard Warner and his wife Barbara Mary (Perkins) and the grandfather of Anastasia Marie Warner, Stephany Lynn (Warner) McKinley and her husband Robert McKinley and by a great granddaughter Layla Marie McKinley. He is also survived by his twin brother Francis Warner and by his sister Lillian Bellinger.
Calling hours will be held from 4 to 7 PM on Tuesday, March 17, 2015 at New Comer Funeral Home, 343 New Karner Rd., Colonie.
A funeral service will be held at 11 AM on Wednesday, March 18, 2015 at New Scotland Presbyterian Church, 2010 New Scotland Rd., Slingerlands.
Interment will be at Memory Gardens, Colonie at 2 PM on Wednesday with military honors.
Memorial contributions may be made to the New Scotland Presbyterian Church, 2010 New Scotland Rd., Slingerlands, NY in memory of Frank

Survivors include her husband, William H. Crosier; three daughters, Anna (Mrs. Charles.) Houghtaling of Feura Bush, Patricia Shultes of Delmar and Sandra Groesbeck of Muskegon, Mich.; a son, Richard A. Crosier of Feura Bush; a sister, Lillian Bellinger of Westmere; two brothers, Frank Warner of Voorheesville and Francis Warner of Bedford, Va. 11 grandchildren; and a greatgranddaughter.
The service will be at 11 a.m. at the Jerusalem Reformed Church. Burial will be in Memory's Garden, Colonie.
Calling hours will be 4-8 p.m. Today with an Eastern Star Service at 7 p.m. at Applebee

Ruth Stark 1929-2012 BRATTLEBORO Ruth Olive Stark, 83, a resident at Pine Heights Nursing Home died Wednesday evening, February 1, 2012 at Brattleboro Memorial Hospital following a period of declining health. Mrs. Stark was born in Spencer, Mass., on January 27, 1929, the daughter of Byron and Ethel (Chandler) Watson. At age eight, with her family, she moved to West Brattleboro where she was raised and educated, attending Academy School. Mrs. Stark worked several part-time jobs throughout the years but was primarily a faithful and devoted homemaker whose life centered around her family. She became a resident of Eden Park Nursing Home (Pine Heights), thirty years ago following an accident on Upper Canal Street where she was struck by a car, sustaining a serious head injury. When she was a resident in West Brattleboro she had attended West Brattleboro Baptist Church. Mrs. Stark loved nature, including birds, fish and cats, enjoyed crocheting, bowling and playing BINGO. Through her winnings at Pine Heights she accumulated quite a collection of stuffed animals. On July 7, 1951, in West Brattleboro she was married to Willard Stark who predeceased her on August 31, 1984. Survivors include one brother, Byron Watson Jr. and his wife Marion of Vernon, two sisters, Virginia Bragg and her husband Robert of East Montpelier, and Harriet Streeter of Windsor. She also leaves many nieces and nephews as well as her extended family at Pine Heights. FUNERAL NOTICE: Funeral services will be conducted Saturday at 1 p.m. at the Atamaniuk Funeral Home with Rev. Jeff Tibbetts, pastor of Vernon Union Church officiating. Burial will follow in West Brattleboro Cemetery on Mather Road where she will be laid to rest next to her husband. Memorial contributions in Mrs. Stark's name may be made to Pine Heights Nursing Home Activities Fund, 187 Oak Grove Avenue, Brattleboro, VT 05301.
