Survivors include her daughters, Diane Leeds (Larry), Marie Ellis (John) and Donna Sullivan (Tom); daughter-in-law, Karen Stickle; 10 grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; sister, Helen Shaw; brother, H. Paul Brinkman (Marjorie); brother-in-law, Fred Stickle (Betty); sisters-in-law, Martha Stickle, Jane Crosier and Bessie Stickle; and many nieces and nephews. She was also preceded in death by her parents; and her son, John R. Stickle. Visitation will be Wednesday, April 25, 2012, from 5:00 p.m. until 8:00 p.m. at Shirley Brothers Washington Memorial Chapel, 9606 E. Washington St. with funeral services Thursday at 10:00 a.m. Interment will follow at St. John's Cemetery, Cumberland, Indiana. |

From: Riddle Funeral Home Wayne Crozier, 98, of Vermilion, died Tuesday, February 12, 2013 at New Life Hospice Center of St. Joseph after a short illness. Wayne was born September 10, 1914 in Nottingham, Ohio and lived in Vermilion since 1957 moving from Elyria. Wayne worked for Ridge Tool, Elyria, as a machinist. He was a member of the United Church of Christ Congregational, Vermilion where he designed the stained glass window at the front of the church. He also taught Sunday School and did "Chalk Talks" where he presented a message to the children. He also was Sunday School Superintendent and sang in the choir at the Pilgrim Congregational Church, Elyria. In his late teens and early 20's he was an avid bicycle racer winning trophies in many race events He is know in Vermilion as a sign painter creating the sign at Old Jibs corner, the window signs at Moats Sparkle Market as well as many signs around town. He is survived by his children, Allen Raymond Crozier, Vermilion, Carol (Donald) Walton, Birmingham, Gary (Karen) Crozier and Scott (Rebecca) Crozier; grandchildren, Amy, Donny, Emily and Olivia and step grandchildren, Kim and Bobby. He was preceded in death by his wife, Agnes Matilda (nee Roschival) Crozier in 1992, his parents, Raymond and Theresa (nee Day) Crozier and brothers, Werner, Russell and Kenneth. Graveside services will be private. |

Crozier (nee Roscbival), 74, of Vermilion died Saturday at her home after a lengthy illness. Born in Cleveland, she grew up in North Olmsted and later lived in Elyria for many years before moving to the Vermilion area 36 years ago. Mrs. Crozier wrote a column for the "Vermilion Photojournal" called "Lake Views" in which she reported on activities in the Vermilion-on- the-Lake area from 1963 to 1985. She was a member of the United Church of Christ Congregational, Vermilion, where she had been active in church functions. During the Vietnam war, she wrote letters and sent newspapers to the Vermilion servicemen overseas. Mrs. Crozier enjoyed arts and crafts and had made many lap robes for Vermilion Manor Nursing Home residents. |

BOE, Memorial Hospital, Lenape Regional High School District and most recently for the Borough of Medford Lakes as a Crossing Guard. He was a Special Policeman for Medford Twp. from 1977 - 1979 and enjoyed Metal Detecting. He is the Beloved Husband of Donna H. (nee Hirst) Crosier of Tabernacle, NJ and the Loving Father of Jennifer Crosier-Eldridge and her husband Kyle of TX, Jeffrey W. Crosier and his wife Alexandria of PA and the late Jonathan D. Crosier. He is also survived by his brother Stephen Crosier and his sister Lisa Crosier both of Washington, his grandchildren Zackery and Keegan Eldridge and Mackenzie, Olivia and Colton Crosier and his 3 nieces and a nephew. Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Saturday from 10:00 - 12:00 at the Medford United Methodist Church, 2 Hartford Rd., Medford, NJ, where a Funeral Service will be held at 12:00 Noon. Raymond attended Immanuel Church of Christ and was a member of the American Legion Post 29. He is survived by his loving wife, Mary Louise Dillinger Adolph; sons, William Allen and Raymond Lewis (Tina) Adolph, Jr.; daughters, Regina Louise (Robert) Wickline and Treva Renee Adolph; brother, Delbert (Linda) Adolph; sister, Nora (George) Kinney; seven grandchildren, Ryan (Kasey) Adolph, Nick (Heidi) Adolph, Robbie (Aseret Braglin) Adolph, Tyler (Amy Cox) Hill, Jerry Adolph-Lucas, Terry Block Jr., and Sean Adolph; eight great-gandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, Raymond was preceded in death by one son, John Daniel Adolph; a brother, Lester Adolph; and sisters, Marie Blair and Marjorie Adolph. He was born September 20, 1927, in Malta, a son of the late Clarence and Lola Leasure Dillehay. Dwight was a member of Euclid Avenue United Methodist Church, retired after 32 years of faithful service to Commercial Lovelace Motor Freight and was a U.S. Army Air Force Veteran serving in World War II. Surviving are two daughters, Penny Sue (Dan) Sims of Sandy, Utah and Karen Kay Sines of Orrville; three granddaughters, Jaime (Joseph) McBride, Jodi ( Paul) Cocanour both of Henderson, Nevada and Jessica (Alex) Nelson of Herriman, Utah; three great grandchildren, Madilyn Sage Cocanour and Cowen Paul Cocanour and Quinn William McBride; a brother, Wilmer Bill Dillehay of Waverly; three sisters, Mary Crozier of South Zanesville, Maxine Boehler of Monroeville and Esther (George) Nourse of Bolivar; and many nieces and nephews. In addition to his parents, he was preceeded in death by his wife, Ruth Ann Roberts Dillehay, who died April 13, 1986; two brothers, Robert and Donald Dillehay; and a niece, Carol Lehman. Friends and family may call one hour prior to a Celebration of Life Service for Dwight at Euclid Avenue United Methodist Church, 1304 Euclid Avenue, Zanesville at 11:00 A.M. Thursday, March 19, 2015 with Pastor Matthew Blau officiating. He will be laid to rest beside his beloved wife, Ruth Ann at Zanesville Memorial Park with full military honors being presented by the United States Army in conjunction with the VFW George Selsam Post 1058. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Euclid Avenue United Methodist Church, 1304 Euclid Avenue, Zanesville, Ohio 43701. |
