Bovina Center, June 24. - Mrs. Marion Johnson Crosier, 79, died Friday at the home of her son in Upper Darby, Pa. Her funeral was held here Monday in the U. P. church of which she had been a lifelong member. The service was conducted by Rev. Wade Miller.
Her husband, Alexander Crosier, was killed forty years ago while cutting wood on Mill Mountain. Several years later she left Bovina to live with her son, James, where she has been tenderly cared for. She is also survived by a daughter, Mrs. Howard Jackson, of Newark, N. J. She was laid to rest beside her husband in the village cemetery.

LOWINGTON, N.C. -- Russell Langdon Jones, 53, died on Wednesday, June 13, 2007, surrounded by his loving family and friends.
Mr. Jones was born on April 19, 1954, the son of the late Clinton and Shirley (Walker) Jones.
He either liked you, or he didn't, nothing in-between. He worked for many, many years for Cersosimo Lumber Co. He also spent 10 years employed with Dunham Shoe Co. as a truck driver.
He then moved his loving wife Linda of 35 years to North Carolina in 1999 and became a serviceman for Synergy Gas Co. For the last two years, he worked for weeks at Sand Co., running heavy equipment and discovering one of the best friends a man could ever have.
Mr. Jones became a very active member of the Solid Rock United Methodist Church. He so loved his church he spent countless hours volunteering his time wherever he was needed.
Mr. Jones was a gentle bear.
Besides his wife, Linda (Robinson) Jones, he is survived by his children, Jenny and her husband Robert "Tiger" Robles and their two children Tye and Brook, Misty and her husband Matthew Hatfield and their two children Scott and Thomas, Billie Joe and her husband Corey Hudgins and their three children Justice, Kain and Raven; foster children, Mike Paul and Brianna; two sisters, Maryellen and her husband Arthur Rizzi and Connie and her husband Robert Chase; and many nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and friends.
He was predeceased by his brother, Davey Jones.
A celebration of Mr. Jones' life will be held at Mama & Papa Z's on Thursday from 6 to 9 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be sent to the Guilford Volunteer Fire Department
